Daily
- Wipe worktops after cooking
- Wipe hob after cooking
- Wash up or run dishwasher
- Empty bin if full
- Sweep floor
Weekly
- Wipe outside of oven and extractor
- Wipe outside of fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster
- Deep-wipe worktops and splashbacks
- Descale sink taps
- Clean inside microwave
- Empty bin and clean with disinfectant
- Hoover and mop floor
Monthly
- Descale kettle
- Wipe skirting boards
- Wipe inside fridge; check for out-of-date food
- Run dishwasher cleaner cycle
- Wipe inside cupboard doors
Quarterly / annual
- Clean inside oven and grill
- Clean extractor filter
- Defrost freezer if not frost-free
- Wipe inside all cupboards; declutter
- Move fridge and cooker where possible; clean behind and under
