A daily, weekly and monthly checklist for keeping a bathroom hygienic and limescale-free.
Daily / after use
- Squeegee the shower screen
- Hang towels to dry
- Wipe basin after brushing teeth
Weekly
- Clean bath and shower tray
- Clean toilet — bowl, seat, lid and base
- Clean basin, taps and mirror
- Wipe tiles and towel rail
- Empty bin
- Mop floor
Monthly
- Descale tiles, screen, taps and shower head
- Wash bath mat and shower curtain
- Wipe skirting boards, door and door frame
- Wipe extractor fan cover
- Wipe light switch, light fitting and pull cords
Quarterly / as needed
- Check silicone for mould; re-seal if damaged
- Deep-descale grout with appropriate cleaner
- Clear and clean cabinets
